A review of The Dick Turpin Inn by John Palmer written on Monday 28th of July 2008
The Dick Turpin is a friendly Inn, with uncrowded comfortable seating. A variety of wines and spirits can be had for a cost that is very reasonable, even for a man of limited means. There is no spitting to be done on the floor, and the proprietors forbid the wearing of swords or pistols. The establishment has such an outstanding reputation that women of good reputation may be found there. .
