A review of YACRO by Shaun written on Friday 1st of July 2011
Being an ex resident, I would like to Wish Pat Smithh all the best for her retirment.( belated I know)
I was not the easist of residents nor the hardest but felt it was a good place and I was given a chance.
The staff there care and want to help and as Pat said "it is tough love" and some are worth the effort.
People slate these kind of places but if we treat ex offenders as offenders then we will not help.
There is always exceptions to the rule when it comes to re-offending, but without place like YACRO there is no hope.
We all make mistakes just some a lot worse than others but we all deserve to make amends.
You may disagree with what I say but thanks partly to YACRO I like life again.
Steady job, lovely wife and cracking son of nearly 2 yrs.
Am I proud to have been at YACRO? Too right
