"Beware of the dog!"

A review of The Volunteer Arms by Local people written on Monday 13th of June 2011

Called into the Volunteer Arms on the way home from York comedy club on 12th June 10.30pm.

The pub was mostly empty but a small group of people (who appeared to be smoking) were sat to one side. There was also a medium sized white dog which flew at me, scrambled up my leg and bit me on the elbow.

Needless to say, we won't be going again..
