York's Mr Chippy looked immaculate from the outside but average on the inside. The staff were polite and very professional. The only disappointment was the standard of the food. Not great! The chips were good bu the fish batter could only be described as heavy. The ends were crisp and dry. The centre was not cooked enough and soggy which spoiled the meal. .
