A review of Royal Mail by D. Casper written on Saturday 27th of February 2010
Trying to make an urgent report about damaged mail (two ripped open letters within two days, one with lost content) takes far too long and complicated a route. Why is a local office/depot contact number listed to report problems when you are then given on 0845 number to ring.
It then takes you ages to work your way through various `options` before you finally get to the `contact a person to talk to` point. Then you get that familiar `all our operatives are busy` answer, `hold or call back later`. All taking time and money wasted because Royal Mail doesn`t seem to want to offer a `service` for its customers but only seems to operate a system that racks up a large phone bill for anyone trying to make a complaint..
