A review of The Little Apple Bookshop by Kate written on Friday 15th of November 2013
I think I used to come here when I was a little child, long before you could find any book you wanted, and buy Asterix books. I'm not sure. Anyway, I stumble across it about once a year - I live in York now, I didn't as a kid. It's a beautiful bookshop and it's just as good for gifts for booky people, people who like quirky nostalgia etc. But there's actually a thoughtful and intelligently chosen display of books along side the French Moomin tableware and Peanuts stationery and all the things you loved in the 70s. They love books. Remind me to come back when I need a birthday present. .
