I have been to craft basics on many occasions, the two ladies there are so lovely and helpful.

On a few occasions I have bought items and then forgot to take them home!!! and when I have gone back in either days or months later (if I have really forgotten and think I have missed layed them)they have always kept them to one side and given them to me when I have gone back in, you can't get more honest than that.

They have many items for all types of crafts, I mainly go there for jewellery making items and would say they are the cheapest in York. .
