A review of B&Q by Alan Moore written on Friday 25th of October 2013
I have visited this store many times and staff have no idea what they stock. I have had the run around many times being diverted to many areas of the shop looking for the same thing. On my last visit I selected an item that was priced at £6 and at the till they tried to charge me £12. I pointed out that the price on the shelf for the item was £6 and the man on the till asked me if that was for the same bar code. It's not the shoppers responsibility to check Bar Codes, the item description was correct, the size was correct, the colour was correct, the materials made from was correct. I didn't have my reading glasses to see the small print Bar Code, which might have been different but to all intents and purposes they were advertising the item at £6 not £12..
