"Are there any people left in York?"

A review of Tourist Information Centre by Disgruntled visitor written on Tuesday 4th of December 2012

I am trying to get a visitors guide to your city.We will be coming to York for 10 days over Christmas,but am beginning to wonder if anyone will be there because all we seem to talk to are machines.Guidebooks are useful and convenient,dont need batteries,dont need charging, dont go beep in the middle of your meal etc.It is pleasant,after having spent money on accomodation,food and drink to sit and go through the guide and decide where we will spend money the following day.Hopefully someone will be available to take our money!Perhaps we will try Lincoln next year.I was going to write but my grandaughter suggested this way in case no one opens letters anymore..
