A review of Royal Mail by Jim dunnington written on Tuesday 13th of November 2012
My valued local postman tried to deliver a parcel and I was out. he left me a card. I went onto the internet and paid £1.50 to have that parcel delivered to my local post office 3 days later. The arrival date was yesterdqy. I have been to the post office 3 times. it has not arrived. I have tried to ring royal mail. the phone number on the internet is in fact Rowntrees chocolates in York - 'We get a lot of these calls' She gave me a number for royal mail. I spoke to a lady in parcel force and 2 other recorded messages. I got the royla mail number. they wanted to talk to me about a christmas voucher. I will need to take time off my work, go to the city, find somwhere to park, pay the parking fee, queue at royal mail to try and find my parcel. I don't know what it is or who sent it.
I am labouring under the obvious misapprehension that royal mail work for the customer. Clearly that is erroneous, I have expended 2 hours on this today. I might be easier to find Shergar..
