"Regular customer will not go to 'Greetings' anymore!"

After being a regular customer for many years I was absolutely stunned the other day. I had purchased a balloon in America which also played a song. (it was for a special birthday). Having never seen them in UK I thought it would be a nice surprise. My surprise was when I asked to have it blown up I was refused point blank.! I had just purchased cards of over £20 in value and offered to pay for inflating the balloon! I wish now that I hadn't already paid for the cards and had left them on the counter! This is not how to treat your regular ( correction WAS regular) customers! .
